Our club meets for a social run every Tuesday, and for a training run every Thursday. We also participate in cross-country and road races most weekends, and ad-hoc groups often get together during the week for various other runs together, such as long runs.
All of our activities are attended by members of all abilities.
In general:
Winter runs are on the road within Burton, starting from the Shobnall Leisure Complex reception.
Summer runs are off-road from various locations in the Burton area, usually starting and finishing at a pub.
High vis vests must be worn for all winter evening runs, and head torches where street lighting is poor. If any member requires a high vis vest, one can be ordered from our Club Kit page.

8 miles. Meet at 7:50 for an 8:00 departure. It's an undulating multi terrain run, approx. 6 miles on fields and woodland paths, with 2 miles of hard trail and tarmac. We should be done by 9:30am, when we can crack open a bottle of champagne, eat a few festive nibbles before heading off home with a smug sense of achievement before spending the day doing the usual Christmas stuff. All darts past and present welcome plus guests from other local clubs. -

Meet at Shobnall Reception for a 7:15pm departure. We will do a 1.4 mile warm up run to Forest Edge Way. If you can’t make it to Shobnall for 7:15 go directly to Forest Edge Way; we’ll probably get there at 7:30 but it won’t matter if you’re a little late.
Forest Edge Way is a loop of 0.35 miles having an elevation gain of 22 feet for the first half of the lap, so the intervals will have a slight uphill and downhill. The course is in a residential area, crosses no roads, has good street lighting and has little traffic.
It’ll be the 2 sets of 5 x 2 minute efforts with 1 minute recovery between each; 5 minute break between sets. -
