Diary

Our club meets for a social run every Tuesday, and for a training run every Thursday. We also participate in cross-country and road races most weekends, and ad-hoc groups often get together during the week for various other runs together, such as long runs.

All of our activities are attended by members of all abilities.

In general:
Winter runs are on the road within Burton, starting from the Shobnall Leisure Complex reception.
Summer runs are off-road from various locations in the Burton area, usually starting and finishing at a pub.

High vis vests must be worn for all winter evening runs, and head torches where street lighting is poor. If any member requires a high vis vest, one can be ordered from our Club Kit page.

Approx 6 miles. Please park in the car park to the right of the pub if you plan to go for a post-run drink. Otherwise street parking available in riverside drive. Five miles of the run is off-road so bring a head torch, and the last 1 mile is on the road so a hi viz top is required.

This is an annual event, instead of a club social run. Course - 4.2 miles on lit pavements. As in previous years we will ask you to predict your time and the winner will be the one nearest to their predicted time - No timing devices or pacing devices are allowed. Please wear reflective bright clothing and observe your own safety at junctions.
The winner will be presented with the trophy at the awards night and get to keep it for a year. Just turn up on the night at 6.45pm to give enough time for you to submit your predicted time and receive a pre-race brief.
