Prediction Race 2011 on 18.12.11

The Darts Annual Prediction Run took place at Foreamarke on Sunday morning over an undulating and icy 4 mile course. Due to the cold weather no doubt [Snow and Ice] only 9 runners turned up which was disapointing. The early snow turned into a decent sunny morning and everyone seemed to enjoy their morning out, thanks to the marshall's,time keepers and Colin who turned up at first light to help with setting up the course.

With all runners keen to impress, an eagle eyed official noticed that a certain competitor had a watch on his left wrist. Once removing this, he admitted to having another on his right!! Not wishing to embarass anybody, but this person will now be known as Tony "two watches". The predictions from all runners were very close for saying it wasn't a predictable 4 mile course due to the the terrain and conditions.

Third place went to Tony "two watches" Press who was 45 seconds near to his mark,
Second place went to Andy Crockford who would have normally expected a win being just 4 seconds out .... but the winner was Colin Scattergood who believe it or not got his prediction of 37.05 spot on ........ much to the astonishment of time keepers Fletch and Kellie .... in fact everyone!!

In the end, a good morning was had by all.

Special thanks to Tony Caulion for organising this brill event, for Fletch, Harriett, Kellie, Geoff and his good lady for turning out to help on such a morning.
