- This is a 2 lap undulating course,
UK Athletics / BARR Gold Grade standard.
- Not suitable for wheelchairs.
- Runners must keep to the left at
all times, unless instructed otherwise by the marshals,
as the roads will not be closed to traffic.
- The finish will be in a public park
where pedestrians have the right of way.
- Any runner unable to complete the
course in the allotted time may be withdrawn from the race
at the discretion of the race referee.
- Runners need to be capable of completing
this race within 4 hours.
- Description 0-5 miles: A slight incline
at the start, then gentle undulations until the village
of Measham, then a 1 mile climb to Swepstone.
- 5-10 miles: Undulating road for 3
miles passing through Heather village and Normanton Village
then downhill for 1 mile back into Packington Village.
- 10-15 miles: A level run through
the village with a medium incline to Champneys Health &
Fitness Club after which a 1 mile downhill before uphill
to Swepstone for the second time.
- 15-20 miles: Undulating road to Heather
and Normanton with a 1 mile downhill into Packington east.
A final gradual rise to Ashby and the finish.
