The run, which is a 9km fell race
including a river crossing, will be held on Saturday 30 May 2009
- It
will start at a new venue in
Wincle,
Burnt House
Farm,
SK11
0QJ
(Grid Ref SJ967663).
- Every finisher gets a unique prize
in this event – a fresh, local Danebridge Trout.
- A perpetual trophy and a small
prize are awarded to the various category winners and the first team.
- There is also a 3km junior fell race
for your younger members (ages 10-15).
- Entry forms will be found on the
Wincle Village website (www.wincle.org.uk)
- You
can find the results there now for previous years and some glowing reports from
some runners of the race.
- The Trout Run has been sold out for the past two years
(before the day of the race this year) so make sure your runners get their entry
forms in early.
