This site is "better viewed"
with Firefox
The basic design of this site is to allow anyone to print
off any information they see, in a printer friendly format. Race applications,
reports, results, tables and information. Hence the white background.
It should load quickly, so there are :- no fancy fonts,
no background images, no dancing buttons or animations, no sounds, no special
effects.
This site is built with Frames.
- The Banner Section of the Frame
(which should be at the top of this page)
contains the title, Hatton Darts Running Club.
- This is a hyper link. "Left clicking"
on it will always take you back to the Site Home Page.
- Hyper links are usually blue, underlined, an image
or a logo. You can tell there is a link, as the mouse pointer, changes
from an arrow to an hand.
- Most hyper links have prompts attached to them.
Move the mouse pointer over a hyperlink and a yellow box should pop
up with a description of the destination.
- The Banner is always on display and always available.
- Index Section of the frame
- On the left side of the screen there is a column of
buttons,
- The Index is always on display and always available.
- Detail Section of the frame.
- This text is contained in the detail section of
a frame.
- This is the section of the frame that will change
as you browse the site. (Provided you left click the links)
- At the top of each such page, there is usually a Logo (like
on this page). Clicking this logo will take you back to the "parent
page".
- The logo will step you backwards towards the index page, then
eventually back to the Home page. Note, it doesn't always return you to
the last page your were on, as throughout the site there are often 2
or 3 links to one page. To return to the previous page, use the Browsers
"back" button, (usually a left arrow).
